TampereRaw: Earth Songs

Event Introduction

The Tampere Raw contemporary music ensemble folds the listener in the bosom of nature and water’s embrace in this Earth Songs concert. We dare you to linger for a while at the wonders and beauty of nature. The event will present some of the very latest and most topical Finnish concert music, arousing feelings, moving and challenging you to reflect on our role as part of our environment and society.

Tickets for the concert will also be sold at the door one hour before the concert.

Before the concert, from 14.15-14.45, Tuuli Lindeberg will interview the composers. With Tomi Räisänen, Ilkka Hammo, Roope Mäenpää, Cecilia Damström. The discussions will be held in Finnish and Swedish.

Ilkka Hammo: parts of Mirabilia naturae, trio for clarinet, for cello and piano
