Musica nova Helsinki thanks its audience!

Musica nova Helsinki gathered together 7 600 people to the concerts and lectures organized during the festival. Over half a million people followed the festival through Yle’s radio emissions and streamed concerts.

European premiere of Grawemeyer Award-winning Play at Musica nova Helsinki

The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra is to perform Play by American composer Andrew Norman at the opening concert of Musica nova Helsinki on February 1. Recent winner of the Grawemeyer Award, Play will replace the premiere of Tyondai Braxton’s TELEKINESIS.

The Musica nova Helsinki tabloid features articles and presentations of the festival’s artists and composers. It’s distributed in the Helsinki center, at the festival venues, libraries and cafés. The articles are mostly in Finnish.
